Elnora Started writing songs at age 12. Though raised in church, her personal faith journey began at age 19 while riding on a Greyhound bus. After her second year of university, she toured with a band called "Morningstar." In 1997, she released her first album, “Elnora.” Her 2000 release, "Don't Let the Rocks Cry Out!" was nominated for a Covenant Award with the Gospel Music Association Canada. Her 2005, release also had a nomination with GMA Canada. "Christmas Collections" was released in 2007.
Over the years, Elnora has toured across Canada with her music, making guest appearances on 100 Huntley Street. She also toured Ireland with the Syracuse, NY-based celtic band, Ceili Rain.
Pittman writes from her heart of experiences she has overcome and Scripture that has sustained her through her joys and sorrows. Her strong vocals are passionate and bring out the message of hope and redemption found in all her songs.
Elnora's latest album, "Lead Me" was released April 2016. It is a compilation of worship songs she wrote while her 14 years as Worship Leader at Hawkwood Baptist Church in Calgary, AB, Canada.
She is married to Pierre Pittman with two grown children. Pierre and Elnora currently make their home in Lloydminster, Alberta.
